Not convinced? Want the dirt? What’s so special about Conscious Cosmetics Face Creams and how exactly are they different from other face creams?
95% of all face creams on store shelves are made up of a few main ingredients: Aqua 65-80% (tap water!), some form of alcohol (all ingredients that end in “ol”), an emulsifying wax 7% (binds water with oil, and by definition contains alcohol), and either a mineral oil (petrochemical) or a lower cost plant oil… add harmful preservatives and toxic fragrance ingredients to that, with some (4-10%) great sounding oils, butters, and plant extracts (only ingredients that will show up in the “Key Ingredients” or "Active Ingredient" list), and you’ve got yourself a face cream.
Why aren’t any of the face creams out there delivering on their promises?

How can they, when you are basically lathering your skin with tap water, petroleum, alcohol, and other harmful nonsense?! In the very best case you only “lightly damage” your skin (no matter how “organic” or “natural” an alcohol is, it will still dry out your skin), and in the worst case you are exposing yourself to carcinogenic, neurotoxic, and reproductive substances… #notimpressed!

Technically speaking our Face Creams are not emulsions (contain no emulsifying wax), but suspensions, created by beeswax (gorgeous humidifying qualities!) only. In the world of creams this is a whole different ballgame that requires a very distinctive balance of ingredients and production technique. As a result our potions are DOUBE AS CONCENTRATED, and will last you twice as long (each jar will serve you a full season!). |

The Natural Face Cream is ideally suited for sensitive skin. The cream is designed to: Moisturize, Hydrate, BALANCE, Protect, Sooth & Soften.
And is full of: Vitamins, Nutrients and Minerals! Create your personal scented cream, by adding your own blend of essential oils (20 - 30 drops), or favourite perfume. Warm up the cream by putting the jar in warm water (do not heat above 30 C / 86 F!). When the cream is soft, add your scent, stir (chopstick), put in the fridge, keep stirring every 5 - 8min. until completely cool, and... voila! |
